This 2017 Fratelli Alessandria Barolo Comune di Verduno has a mid-ruby color, a slightly smoky, spicy, peppery nose with some crunchy red fruits. It has a rich, enveloping texture, a medium+ body with a silky mid-palate. On the palate there are plenty of cherry, spicy flavors and firm, fine-textured tannins are followed by a long finish with some freshness. Wait about 2-3 years then drink 15-20 years.
